Frank Sagala Memorial services for Frank Gonzales Sagala, 84, were held Friday at Wharton Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Methodist Cemetery in East Bernard. Survivors include wife, April Powers Graves of East Bernard; mother, Polly Novosad Graves of East Bernard; daughters, Alexis Renee Graves and Callie Ann Graves, both of East Bernard; son, Garrett Neal Graves of East Bernard; sister, Melinda Sue Graves of Richmond; brothers, William De Witt Graves of East Bernard, Russell David Graves of El Campo and Robert Joel Graves of Lissie. After retiring in 1979, she and Slim bought a motor home and enjoyed going camping in the area and some travel. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lancelot M. Pallbearers were Horace Earl Wilson, William Neal Wilson, Frank Shannon Jr., Frank Shannon III, Paul Dayvault Shannon, Dr. Martin Jr., Richard Scott Martin, Jack Thornton and M. Guttenberger continued her nursing career at the hospital for many years and in later years served as Wharton County Mental Health Nurse and did some private duty nursing.
