This pin must be pulled low before power is applied, or at least before letting the RN4871 come out of reset, because it is only sampled at the time. The Update Tool must also have control of the serial lines, RX and TX.In my application circuit, RX and TX go directly to TX and RX on my PIC.

Can you please check what is the MAC address of your module by connecting to it ?

Delete the My Drive Connect folder from: C:\Program Files (x86) (if still present) Delete the Tom Tom folder from: C:\Users\[username]\App Data\Local\ (USERNAME - It is the user name which you use to login to Windows ) Delete the Tom Tom folder from: C:\Users\[username]\App Data\Roaming\ Delete every file and folder from: C:\Windows\Temp\ (in case some files can't be removed, reboot the PC and retry) Restart your computer.
